Former Bulgarian Prime Minister King Simeon II visits Anatolia, Inspires Students

Former Bulgarian Prime Minister King Simeon II visited the Anatolia and ACT campuses March 31-April 1. He conducted a seminar for ACT students on challenges of his years in power and delivered a public Michael Dukakis lecture in which he drew a parallel between Carl Compton’s vision for Anatolia at a time of scarce resources and post-war European reconstruction. King Simeon also met and discussed their work with each of the 11 students at the annual IB art exhibition. Dick and Eia Jackson hosted a dinner in his honor for Trustees and supporters of the school.
